To accomplish this goal, Easter Seals of East Georgia offers a variety of services targeted to assist children and adults with disabilities as well as their families.



The programs that Easter Seals of East Georgia offer include:



• Vocational Evaluation

• Work Adjustment Training

• Jobs 2000

• Skills Training

• Job Placement

• Janitorial Services

• Champions for Children



The information below will provide a brief overview of some of the programs listed above offered by Easter Seals East Georgia.



Vocational Evaluation:

Everyone is different. The vocational evaluation is used to assess a participant’s abilities and interests. The evaluator is tasked with determining what specific employment solutions are available to each participant and pairs them with the necessary tools to meet their goals.



Work Adjustment Training:

This workshop serves as an opportunity to build confidence and learn new skills. After the workshop is completed, job placement personnel work with participants to place them in a stable job in their community where they can flourish.



Jobs 2000:

High school students that have met graduation requirements, but struggle with senior math and English, can spend one full semester with Easter Seals. There they will gain both academic and vocational skills tailored to enhance life and vocational skills.



Champions for Children

Champions for Children was established to help children and families not eligible for TEFRA/Katie Beckett Medicaid. It offers them direct financial assistance and support services.
