(USGovernment-News.Com, July 20, 2012 ) Dothan, AL – The Social Security Administration is offering a free webinar July 25, 2012 with the goal of helping people with disabilities who are currently receiving Social Security disability benefits enter or re-enter the workforce.
Social Security disability benefits recipients are often afraid to begin working for fear they will lose their needed benefits payments or insurance coverage. However, the Social Security Administration does allow for a person to work and still be eligible to receive benefits and insurance through the Ticket to Work Program and Work Incentives. This webinar will address the work issue and advise people with disabilities how to access these programs and potentially better their lives.
The hour and a half webinar entitled “Support Services for People with Disabilities: Ticket to Work, Job Accommodations, and You” will be held July 25, 2012 from 3 to 4:30 PM eastern time and is being hosted by the Social Security Administration. A person does not have to be a current disability benefits recipient in order to view the webinar. The webinars are broadcast across the internet in a video format. An internet connected computer and email address are necessary to attend. To sign up, visit the Ticket to Work website at choosworkttw.net. More information can also be obtained by calling 866-968-7842.
