Chesterfield, MO -- It started in St. Louis and has moved on. This Saturday in Virginia--home of the Pentagon, the world's largest naval base, and one of the country's largest military populations--Richmond will Welcome Home the Post-911 Heroes.
One percent of our population has born the brunt of ten years of warfare. Their families have carried that burden. This Saturday, May 19th on Armed Forces Day, Richmond will give America another chance to welcome our service personnel home with a grand parade down the Boulevard. At the end of the parade, entertainment and an incredible array of services -- from the Veterans Administration to pro bono attorneys provided by major sponsor McGuireWoods LLP -- will provide reintegration services to our veterans and their families.
