Frigidaire Dishwasher Complaints Under Investigation

(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 04, 2012 ) New York, NY – The attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking to determine whether owners of certain Frigidaire dishwashers have legal recourse. A number of consumer complaints have surfaced online describing problems related to the heating element of some Frigidaire dishwashers. These consumers have alleged that the control panel does not turning off the heating element, which can melt down to burn the pan in two places, allowing water to leak and, in the worst cases, liquefying the plastic and starting a fire. If you have experienced these or other problems with a Frigidaire (Electrolux) dishwasher, the attorneys working with ClassAction.org would like to hear from you. Visit http://www.classaction.org/frigidaire-dishwashers.html and complete the ‘Report a Complaint’ form on the right with details of your dishwasher problems for a free, no obligation case review.

A number of consumers have taken to the internet to express complaints regarding their Frigidaire dishwashers. Among the Frigidaire dishwasher complaints posted online include the following: the dishwasher overflowed; the heating element never shut off; the sprayer arm melted onto the heating coil; the dishwasher leaked water onto the kitchen floor or into other areas of the property; the dishwasher emitted a burning plastic smell; the electric board burned up; the dishwasher began steaming; and the dishwasher caught on fire. A number of damages were said to have resulted from these problems, according to the consumer complaints, including signed countertops, melted blenders, mold damage, melted dishwasher components, glassware damage, and burned-down property in instances in which the appliance allegedly caught on fire.

Consumers who experienced these or other problems with the Frigidaire dishwashers may be able to file a claim for property damage and other losses. Recently, it was reported that owners of certain Kitchenaid, Whirlpool and Kenmore dishwashers filed a class action lawsuit complaint to seek compensation for damages resulting from allegedly defective electronic control boards which were said to have overheated, smoked or caught on fire, according to the consumers. Our attorneys are looking to determine whether consumers with Frigidaire dishwasher complaints have a similar course of legal action through their own class action suit.
