Scanner Radio Org Website Show New Scanner Guides for 2011 and 2012 Have Updates for Info Sites

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 26, 2012 ) Sacramento, California – A couple of new radio scanner user guides are due to be published the first one in December of 2011 and the other in January of 2012. Information contained in these scanner guides contains never before seen information.

Two new radio scanner user guides authored by Southern California Monitoring Association president Rick DiFiore are expected to be published. These works are well esteemed and anticipated by scanner radio enthusiasts and many local stores and hobby shops have announced that they will have copies of the said publications as soon as they are available.

According to one of the administrators of the official SCMA website, these radio scanner user guide books will be unlike any other. A little sneak peek into the would-be contents was provided. These two guide books are said to contain updated information on all the scanner frequencies used by all statewide and federal agencies of the government.

It appears that the coverage of these works is pretty comprehensive since they deal with related information for the sheriff's office, police, fire department, aircraft, railroad, military, and even more. It should also be noted that the guidebook to be released this December is a totally new work while the second one is an update of a previous work.

The publishers and the author of these books haven't released a lot of inside info on these works. In fact, they haven't even announced the price of both guide books. More information will be announced at a later time.

The Southern California Monitoring Association is club composed of radio scanner enthusiasts from the aforementioned area. Their members include people from a variety of backgrounds and professions. Some members of this club have lifetime membership in the said organization. People who share the same passion and live within the said vicinity are encouraged to sign up for membership.

Scanner radio clubs and organizations span across the United States. These organizations have their own websites, conduct trainings, create their own publications, and are affiliated and cooperate with many different government agencies.

A scanner radio is an electronic device that can tune into radio transmissions from police cars, dispatches, ambulances, coast guard, fire fighters, race car drivers, the FBI, surveillance helicopters, and just about any other radio frequency used by private companies and government agencies.

These electronic devices can be legally bought and used in the United States. In fact, the FCC allows their sale on US soil. However, it should be noted that there are also federal and state regulations that should be followed with regard to their use. Some of these regulations include using them inside the home. Some states allow radio scanners to become part of a car's system while others forbid it.

A lot of the basic information can be found in official websites of scanner radio clubs and information sites like ScannerRadio.org. For tips, codes, frequency information, and product reviews, visit http://www.scannerradio.org.
