(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 17, 2011 ) NEW YORK, NY -- The Fright Night movie that scared up audiences during the end of summer this year is coming out on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D. ItÂ’s a remake of the 1985 classic cult horror flick starring Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin and Toni Collette. The story centers around Charley, a high school senior who just started hanging out with the popular crowd and is dating the most coveted girl in school. His friends start mysteriously disappearing around the time his new neighbor moves into town.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, this new 2011 Fright Night movie is not your average horror flick. With the use of advanced 3D effects, it was able to make the brutality and gore that is the staple of such films come to life. In addition, the all star cast makes this remake even more enjoyable than the original.
The Fright Night DVD, blu-ray and blu-ray 3D sets all come with bonus features including a gag reel, an uncensored Kid Cudi music video for the film and “Squid Man” extended and uncut. More great features are included in the blu-ray and blu-ray 3D versions. DreamWorks Pictures has the Fright Night release date set for December 13, 2011.
