(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 12, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Video game publisher and developer, Namco, has acquired the full rights to distribute Power Rangers games. It happened early this year, but the company did not give details as to what kind of platform they were planning to release the game for. Namco just announced that their game Power Rangers Samurai will be available for both Nintendo DS and Wii this coming holiday. The official Power Rangers Samurai release date is on November 29, 2011.
Based on the popular, action-packed television show, Power Rangers Samurai game features the newest generation of Rangers. These five Rangers must master the age-old Samurai Symbols of Power to be able to control the elements of water, earth, fire, sky and forest. The Power Rangers will be guided by Ji who is a Samurai mentor. All-knowing Ji has the assistance of loyal animal Zords, which include the Brea, Ape, Turtle, Lion and Dragon. All together, they have to fight NetherworldÂ’s evil Master Xandred and his dark forces.
