Avaulta Mesh Lawsuit May Be an Option for Women Experiencing Mesh Side Effects

(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 27, 2011 ) New York, NY – Women who have suffered from mesh erosion and other Avaulta side effects may have legal recourse. Several Avaulta mesh lawsuits have already been filed, and patients who have experienced complications after undergoing pelvic organ prolapse repair surgery with an Avaulta mesh may be able to make a claim for medical expenses and other losses. To find out if you can file an Avaulta mesh lawsuit for your vaginal mesh side effects, visit http://www.classaction.org/avaulta-transvaginal-mesh.html and fill out the free case evaluation form for a no cost, no no obligation review of your claim.

In October 2008, the FDA advised the public that serious complications had been associated with transvaginal placement of meshes used to treat pelvic organ prolapse repair and stress urinary incontinence. In the FDAÂ’s public health notification, the agency received more than 1000 complaints, during a three-year time span, of trans vaginal mesh problems from nine different companies, including C.R. Bard which manufactures the Avaulta mesh. Reported vaginal sling problems, including Avaulta mesh side effects, included the following: pain; mesh erosion; recurrence of incontinence or prolapse, mesh infection, urinary problems and bladder, bowel and blood vessel perforation during insertion. Reportedly, several patients experienced a decrease in their quality of life due to discomfort and pain, which resulted from mesh erosion and vaginal scarring.

Women who developed mesh erosion or other Avaulta mesh side effects may need surgery or other costly medical care to treat their vaginal sling complications. Those who elect to file an Avaulta mesh lawsuit, however, may be able to recover the cost of these treatments, as well as compensation for pain and suffering and other damages resulting from their Avaulta mesh problems. To find out if you are eligible for an Avaulta mesh lawsuit, visit Class Action.org and complete the free case evaluation form.
