(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 25, 2011 ) New York, NY – An Avaulta mesh side effect alert has been released by Class Action.org to alert women of the potential complications associated with transvaginal meshes. Serious health problems have been linked to the Avaulta mesh, which is used to treat pelvic organ prolapse. If you have been implanted with an Avaulta transvaginal mesh, visit http://www.classaction.org/avaulta-transvaginal-mesh.html to learn more about the Avaulta mesh problems and to receive a free case evaluation, which can help determine if you can recover financial compensation for your Avaulta Avaulta side effects.
In Oct. 2008, the FDA released a public health notification after receiving 1000 reports of mesh complications from nine different manufacturers, including C.R. Bard, which manufactures the Avaulta mesh. The FDA found the most frequent mesh complications to include infection, pain, urinary problems and recurrence of pelvic organ prolapse. Other transvaginal mesh side effects can include the following: vaginal scarring; mesh erosion; and perforation of the bowel, bladder or blood vessels during insertion. In some cases, mesh erosion and vaginal scarring caused pain during sex and discomfort, which led to a subsequent decrease in the patientÂ’s quality of life.
Manufactured by C.R. Bard, the Avaulta Solo, Avaulta Plus and Avaulta Biosynthetic are mesh kits used to treat pelvic organ prolapse (POP), a condition in which a pelvic organ drops from its normal position and pushes against the walls of the vagina. If you have been implanted with a Bard Avaulta vaginal sling to treat POP and have experienced Avaulta mesh side effects, you may be entitled to financial compensation. Visit Class Action.org and complete the free case evaluation form to find out if you can participate in an Avaulta mesh lawsuit to recover damages for medical bills, pain and suffering and other losses which resulted from your Avaulta mesh side effects.
