(USGovernment-News.Com, May 20, 2016 ) Miami, FL -- As reported by ABC Local 10, South Florida is seeing an explosion of lethal heroin overdoses caused by the adulteration of heroin with the powerful painkiller, Fentanyl. Used medically as an anesthetic, Fentanyl is one hundred times stronger than Morphine; heroin and Fentanyl combined can be lethal in even the smallest doses. In 2015, Fentanyl contributed to nearly 50 percent more deaths than in 2014, a fact which was co-current with a 363 percent raise in heroin deaths.
