(USGovernment-News.Com, February 20, 2016 ) Orlando, FL -- According to Central Maine Police Chief of Hallowell, Eric Nason, claimed no illicit substances are being sold within the city- despite use of illicit substances. Nason was berated by his peers, who questioned his statement. Councilor Alan Stearns refutes addiction within Hallowell is continuing to sunder families and officials must embrace the presence of the drug epidemic within their communities. Drug trafficking absence may be ascribed to I-95 not having an exist to the small town. An associate from Drug Rehab Orlando comments, "Preventative education, even in rare cases of small towns not yet infested with chronic addiction rates like Hallowell, is key to make rates stay the way they are- and diminish stats already present. Educating the community and students isn't about fear, but education.

"The more we empower communities to make healthful decisions for themselves and families, the less intervention we need both from law enforcement and treatment professionals. Self-sufficient communities have preventative programs and treatment options for those who fall through the cracks. A fully developed prevention program should include explicit results of addiction. They should not merely be 'scare tactics' but legitimate documentaries and examples of real life experiences. The over fanciful prevention measures do not accurately prepare students for the challenges which lie ahead. It is unlikely students will begin binging on illicit substances, but shifting their mindsets emotional relief can be garnered from experimentation with things illicit or otherwise.

"What many prevention education programs lack is training of the mind, which is the throne of chronic substance use disorders."
