(USGovernment-News.Com, December 29, 2015 ) Miami, FL -- After Florida legislation passed laws to ban pill mills, which served to prescribed patients opiate pain medications without conducting proper medical exams- contributing to the rates of fatal overdoses, and rising rates of addiction among both adults and young adults. UPI reports since the institution of laws to dismantle pill mills, 1,029 lives were saved from fatal overdose. The facility asserts the entire nation should adopt similar policies to redress opiate overdoses significantly.

Cracking down on pill mills is not only readily achievable by following a similar strategy as Florida's law enforcement but will create a measurable and meaningful impact on those in the throes of addiction.
