He said that the implementation of such a regulation from City Council Ordinance Committee, Portage in June is one of a clears signs for this movement. "Many dog owners are not aware that using retractable dog leashes is actually a bad idea. A dog on a 25-foot retractable leash can suddenly roam across the trail, which causes safety issues for other people and for the dog itself." He explained.
