New Book Release From Political Commentator, Adolph Mongo Announced

(USGovernment-News.Com, June 28, 2015 ) Detroit, MI – Adolph Mongo, a Detroit-based political consultant announced Wednesday that a book following thirty years of Black politics in Detroit will be published and released at the end of 2015.

“My book gives a different perspective into the administrations of the late Coleman Young and former disgraced mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick,” Mongo said. mongo has been a fixture in Detroit political circles for several decades; following the ebbs and flows that created booms and busts for the challenged city.

“I am excited about this book. I was there when history was being made in Detroit in the last thirty years: history that was both good and bad,” Mongo added, hinting at the rise of a very proud city from the ashes of 60's riots – to it's eventual fall into an abyss created by greed and avarice in high city offices. The upcoming book chronicles the recent history of Detroit from a knowledgeable inside point of view. The book is said to chocked full of behind the scenes details that tell the full story of reports that were only told in sound bites and video clips from media outlets that were attempting to fill in the gaps on the fly.

Though no specific date was reported for the book's release, Mongo's representatives have said that the yet-to-be-released title will be published by year-end. Previous reports have speculated that the book will be the biggest Detroit tell-all story since Charlie LeDuff's 'Detroit: An American Autopsy.'
