(USGovernment-News.Com, May 23, 2015 ) BOISE, IDAHO – A multiple-vehicle wreck occurred on Interstate 84, just past Nampa Boulevard, involving a semi truck and an Idaho State Police car.
Just before 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, police say Ontario, Oregon resident Gustavo Morales-Perez tailed to stop as traffic ahead of him slowed down. The semi he was driving rear-ended an unmarked police SUV drive by Boise resident Blake Highley.
The impact pushed the SUV in to the vehicle in front of it, a Nissan pick up truck driven by Marsing resident Clifford L. Hahlbeck.
Although Highley was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, no one was injured in the wreck.
However, Morales-Perez was cited for following too closely and his semi was placed out of service after police found multiple equipment violations.
The crash blocked the left lane of Interstate 84 for half an hour.
