Ed Bernstein & Guests Talk Physical Therapy

(USGovernment-News.Com, April 08, 2015 ) Las Vegas, NV -- Physical therapy is an important part of healing after a serious auto accident, and Las Vegas personal injury lawyer Ed Bernstein will be discussing some cutting edge techniques this Sunday on The Ed Bernstein Show.

The two owners of Float Centers of Nevada, Travis McQueen and Raquel Martinez, will be making an appearance to educate the audience on flotation therapy. This relaxing treatment works as a remedy for loosening muscles, relieving pain and decreasing tension throughout the body, among other benefits. The person gently rests above the water in a shallow, covered tub (referred to as a “pod”). Each pod contains 1200 lbs. of Epsom salt, which both increases the buoyancy and provides several health benefits to the body.

In addition to these guests, three others will come to discuss new procedures, equipment, and treatments for dizziness and balance disorders, which can sometimes stem from an impact or injury to the nerves.

Scott Pensivy, the owner of S.P.O.R.T.S. (Scott Pensivy Orthopedic Rehabilitation Therapy Services) has worked in the field of physical therapy for over 25 years and will be sharing part of his knowledge. Doctors James Mortensen and Robert Williams from Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers are dedicated to diagnosing and properly treating patients that suffer from nerve disorders. They will talk about new ways to overcome pain and restore mobility.

One of the new medical technologies that will be mentioned is a CDP (Computerized Dynamic Posturography) system, which tests components of a person’s balance control throughout the body to uncover any weaknesses. VNG (Videoelectronystagmography) is another test, which uses infrared cameras to check a person’s inner ear and central motor functions.

This informative episode of The Bernstein Show is one not to be missed! Tune in to channel 3 this Sunday at 3pm to hear what these experts have to say.
