The Ed Bernstein Show Features Two Judges and an Attorney

(USGovernment-News.Com, October 17, 2014 ) Las Vegags, NV -- This week on The Ed Bernstein Show, Attorney Bernstein will have three very important guests joining him. The first guest is Judge Adriana Escobar who is District Court Judge in Department 14. Our second guest is Judge Carolyn Ellsworth, District Court Judge in Department 5. The final guest on Sundays show is judicial candidate Jim Crockett, who will running in the coming election to be District Court Judge for Department 24.



Since being appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval and elected by voters in 2012, Judge Adriana Escobar has worked diligently to earn the trust of the Nevada community. Judge Escobar has a very impressive resume, having held many positions in the fields of criminal, civil, and administrative law. She has served as Nevada Consumer’s Advocate and Chief Deputy Attorney General protecting consumers and prosecuting complex securities and mortgage fraud. She is also a former Commissioner on the Nevada Public Utilities Commission where she worked to protect Nevada utility rate payers.



Similar to Judge Escobar, Judge Carolyn Ellsworth was appointed to the bench in 2011 by Governor Sandoval and later elected in 2012. During her 34 years of legal practice, she has practiced extensively in both the criminal and civil arenas, and in each of those areas has represented parties on both sides – prosecution and defense, plaintiff and defendant.



Attorney Jim Crockett has been a trial lawyer for over 33 years, Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer since 1983, and has received multiple awards such as Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association and also the Ray Badger Award for Distinguished Service to the Nevada Justice Association. Attorney Crockett feels like he is at the point in his life where he wants to do more for the Nevada community. This has led him to be a judicial candidate running for Judge on the Clark County District Court in Department 24. He is ready and willing to work hard to earn the voters respect in the upcoming elections.
