(USGovernment-News.Com, October 02, 2013 ) Greenwood, S.C – A teen from upstate South Carolina has been charged with driving under the influence after being involved in a fatal weekend car wreck. According to reports 17-year-old Darius Andrews is being charged with felony DUI after he was involved in a car crash that killed a pregnant 23-year-old woman.
Alisha Boyter was being driven home by friends on Friday, September 27th when their vehicle was hit by Andrews’ on Highway 225 just outside of Greenwood. Four others were injured during the crash and were taken to a local area hospital. Boyter was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to Boyter’s relatives she was 29-weeks pregnant with her first child. Andrews went before a judge on Saturday and his bond was set for $150,000.
