(USGovernment-News.Com, September 27, 2013 ) LINCOLN, NEB. – Earlier this week a rollover accident occurred in a South Lincoln neighborhood sending the driver of the vehicle to the hospital.
A neighbor said he was sleeping when he heard a large crash and ran outside only to see a car had overturned onto its roof. The man quickly checked to see if the occupant was OK then dialed 9-1-1.
The man was conscious when the emergency crews arrived to the scene, where they needed to rescue the driver out the back window of the car. The man did not suffer from any life-threatening injuries.
Police indicated that the accident occurred when the driver clipped a parked SUV causing it to rollover onto its roof. Thankfully the man driving the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt, as many rollover accidents result in occupants being tossed out of the vehicle.
