(USGovernment-News.Com, September 26, 2013 ) GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A fatal hit-and-run accident took place in Fayetteville, N.C. the evening of Sunday, September 22 when a woman attempting to pass through the intersection of Pamalee Drive was struck and killed by an intoxicated driver, police said.
The driver was 30-year-old Elizabeth Lauren Robinson, and as 55-year-old Cynthia Beasley crossed the intersection of Pamalee and Blanton Road, Robinson’s SUV killed her. Robinson fled immediately but was found on Green Valley Road and later charged with felony hit-and-run, driving while impaired, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The incident remains under investigation although there were no further details at the time of the report.
