(USGovernment-News.Com, September 12, 2013 ) Houston, TX – In Late August a two-year old was viciously attacked by a neighborhood dog, the boy is finally home and recovering from his injuries. The toddler from southwest Houston suffered facial lacerations and injuries to his scalp. Deep puncture wounds were also found on his back.
According to reports the little boy was playing outdoors with neighborhood kids when the boy’s brother came indoors and told his mom that his little brother was dead. The boy’s mother ran outside and found him covered in blood with the neighbor’s dog nearby baring blood around the mouth.
The dog, a pit bull/ Rottweiler mix, was supposedly being supervised by the owner’s stepson however the victim’s mother said the dog was unsupervised when she saw him.
Anthony Donnell Ruff, the dog’s owner, was charged with a felony for the attack the failing to secure his dog.
