(USGovernment-News.Com, September 10, 2013 ) Knoxville, TN. – Road work on I-75 and I-40 in Anderson and Loudoun counties is set to begin this week and will continue for approximately ten days.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation on Tuesday September 10th and Wednesday September 11th bridge inspectors will be looking over I-75 in Anderson County. On Tuesday I-75 north from mile marker 126 to mile marker 127 will be reduced to one lane. On Wednesday mile marker 127 to mile marker 126 on southbound I-75 will be affected.
The delays will affect commuters between 9a.m and 3p.m.
On Wednesday September 11th I-40 east and west at mile marker 364 will be down to one lane as Phase 1 of bridge repairs begin. Lane closures will continue for 10 days on I-40.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists of watching for lane shifts and workers present.
