(USGovernment-News.Com, July 30, 2013 ) Phoenix, AZ On Sunday morning westbound lanes on I-10 were closed following a deadly rollover accident.
The accident was caused by a 28-year-old impaired driver who rear-ended a woman driving her pickup truck. The woman was now wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck and died at the scene of the accident.
Several witnesses reported seeing the mans vehicle traveling in access of the speed limit and swerving all over the highway. Following the accident the man was transported to a nearby hospital where he suffered from moderate injuries. The man is expected to recover from the accident.
Unfortunately, throughout 2012 there were 5,428 accidents caused by drunk drivers in Arizona alone, according to The Arizona Department of Transportation.
