Tempe Police Need Information On TeenÂ’s Disappearance, Phillips Law Group Reports

(USGovernment-News.Com, July 19, 2013 ) PHOENIX, AZ. – A report newly released by the Tempe Police Department shed some light on the evening that a 19-year-old Tempe woman disappeared.

CBS5 AZ reports Adrienne Salinas was last seen at a party with her boyfriend, Francisco Arteaga, on June 15. The teen went missing in the early morning hours the next day. According to the police report, Arteagas and Salinas had an argument at the party, which led to their departure.

They then traveled in Arteaga’s car to his home in Scottsdale, where they continued to argue for some time. Arteaga claims the fighting stemmed from tension between the two at the party, when Salinas felt that Arteaga was, “not paying enough attention to her.”

Arteaga claims that when he stepped outside of his house to catch his breath, Salinas had disappeared. He left the house in his car to search for her and found Salinas walking along Indian School Road, where he convinced her to get into his vehicle, but when Arteaga stopped at a red light, Salinas exited the car, taking her cell phone with her.

According to Arteaga’s statements in the report, Salinas had called and text messaged his phone almost a dozen times through the night, and at one point said she was coming to meet him at his house, although she never did.

Police are seeking more information in Salinas’ disappearance, and did report that there is surveillance footage of a woman with Salinas’ build walking through the parking lot of the West Auto Parts Store at 1002 W. University at 4:52 a.m., soon after followed by a dark, four-door vehicle.

Missing persons cases can sometimes be the result of another’s negligent behavior, and the personal injury attorneys at Phillips Law Group want to encourage anyone who may have information on Salinas’ disappearance to come forward.
