(USGovernment-News.Com, June 19, 2013 ) SAVANNAH, GA – Six people were hospitalized early Monday with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash occurred at Louisville Road and West Boundary Street.
According to law enforcement officials on the Major Accident Investigation Team, James E. Leach, Jr., 40, was driving a 2004 Dodge Magnum on Boundary Street when he crossed over the double yellow line and into the northbound lane. Steve Bragg was traveling north on Boundary in a Ford F450 and had slowed down for a stoplight before swerving to the right in an attempt to avoid the accident.
At 8:07 a.m., the Dodge struck the left front of the pickup truck, which was towing a trailer. Bragg, Leach, and his four passengers were all transported to Memorial University Medical Center, according to Savannah-Chatham police spokesman Julian Miller. The four passengers have been identified as Orlando Robbins, Ashley Finley, Paul L. Williams and Joshua Munns. The authorities are continuing an ongoing investigation into the collision.
