(USGovernment-News.Com, June 18, 2013 ) Windsor, Ontario – On Sunday evening a mother and daughter were walking on the sidewalk of Victoria Avenue when a speeding car jumped the curb and ran into them. The two women suffered from broken bones and the daughter was air lifted to the London hospital and is in serious condition.
There were two men in the vehicle which fled the scene only to later return to see the damages. These men were arrested and face charges for dangerous driving.
The car they were driving become lodged sideways between two retaining walls on the sides of the driveway, while also breaking a wrought iron fence on the front of the sidewalk.
Neighbors reported hearing screams and a loud bang before rushing over to see the two women in pain and shock, as the two men initially fled the scene.
