(USGovernment-News.Com, June 06, 2013 ) Glendale, AZ – Around 3a.m. Wednesday morning authorities received a call from a driver reporting a woman laying down in the middle of the road on the 6300 block of Northern Avenue. One passerby attempted to resuscitate the victim but she remained unresponsive. The woman who appeared to be in her 30s or 40s was in critical condition when medics arrived. She was airlifted to a local hospital but later died of her injuries.
Northern Avenue between 59th and 67th street was shut down while police investigated the scene for any clues about the vehicle or driver who collided with the pedestrian. According to authorities some car parts were found around the woman however no description of the vehicle has become available. Furthermore, no witnesses have stepped forward about the incident.
