(USGovernment-News.Com, May 31, 2013 ) KNOXVILLE, TN The Tennessee clinics that received medication suspected of being contaminated have been named by the state Health Department, and none of them are in East Tennessee.
The clinics that did receive the suspect shipments of methylprednisolone acetate, an injectable steroid that was at the center of last years outbreak of fungal meningitis, are:

Concerns were initially raised when federal authorities identified seven cases of infection from patients who received injections from a compounding pharmacy in Newbern, Tennessee. The Centers for Disease Control notes however, that there is no indication at this time of meningitis or other life threatening infection.
