(USGovernment-News.Com, May 30, 2013 ) Gwinnett County, GA - A man driving a tractor trailer crashed into a strip mall in Gwinnett County on Wednesday, where he was later pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Reports indicate that the man has passed through an intersection at Essex Drive and suddenly swerved to the left, crossed through the median, across oncoming traffic, through a parking lot and into a strip mall. The truck crashed into a restaurant and hair salon, which were not open at the time.
Police have indicated that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident, while it remains unknown if the driver had a medical condition which could have caused the crash.
Witnesses at a neighboring company saw the truck flash by before it crashed into the building. No damage was done to this building and there were no further injuries. The company which the driver worked for has been complaint with local authorities and said the truck driver had worked for the company for eight years.
