(USGovernment-News.Com, March 15, 2013 ) WEST PALM BEACH FL – A West Palm Beach man was arrested earlier this week after being caught by his father manufacturing methamphetamine in their apartment. The father reported seeing a piece of foil and clear liquid creating steam on the kitchen stove. When confronting his son, his son admitted he was making drugs.
Several agencies responded to the call including the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies, the West Palm Beach Police Department, and the DEA. These teams also sent bomb technicians to the scene, as meth labs are typically found to cause explosions, which can lead to the harm of innocent individuals.
Reports show that meth usage numbers have been on a steady increase in the Central Florida area. It is estimated that over 1.2 Americans over the age of 12 have abused this lethal drug, many of which have caused harm to innocent individuals. Around 14,000 children have been found living in methamphetamine labs throughout the nation, without ever knowing it was dangerous.
Each year dozens of individuals are killed in the United States due to this lethal drug. This drug also accounts for many individuals being killed in meth lab explosions and innocent individuals being directly affected or injured by someone they know abusing this terrible drug.
