(USGovernment-News.Com, March 07, 2013 ) PALM BEACH COUNTY FL – On Wednesday morning, a school bus was struck by another vehicle on D Street near 6th Avenue. Officials stated that a car pulled out in front of the bus sending it spinning into a parked car. The accident took place around 8:45 a.m. and sent three children to the hospital. There were 60 students traveling on the bus at the time of the accident.
This is the second accident involving a school bus in the last couple of days. Gordon & Doner advises drivers to pay attention for school busses while making commutes to and from work.
Last week, an SUV ran a red light and crashed into a school bus near Jog Road and Southern Boulevard leaving two children with minor injuries. The driver was then cited for running a red light. In both situations the school bus had the right of way.
