One of Alleged Russian Spies Hires a Lavish New York Criminal Attorney (reported by ATIIF)

(USGovernment-News.Com, October 19, 2012 ) New York, NY - ATIIF announces that Victoria Klebanova, one of the suspects in the alleged cell of Russian spies, has retained a high-profile NYC criminal law firm known to defend most notorious white collar criminals. Arkady Bukh has made the comment that “…the US Justice Department has a track record of making a case happen—even if it requires under-handed methodologies. Entrapment in the post 9-1-1 world is par for the course in these matters. I’m certain that my client is innocent and that time will prove that this is a misunderstanding.”

Ms. Klebanova is charged with Conspiracy to Defraud US, Presidential Authorities, and Tampering with a Witness in the Eastern District of New York (1:2012-cr-00626). According to Bureau of Prisons, Ms. Klebanova is currently on her way to NY.

Department of Justice Officials recently unsealed the indictment that charged 11 individuals with illegally exporting high-tech microelectronics from the United States to Russian military and intelligence agencies as part of an alleged Russian military procurement network operating in the United States. Alexander Fishenko is the chief suspect in the case and faces additional charges of operating as an “unregistered agent of the Russian government”. Fishenko is both an owner and chief executive of the American and Russian companies involved in allegedly procuring the high-tech microelectronics on behalf of the Russian government. These microelectronics were considered classified and under the control and authority of the US government as they have use potential for “radar and surveillance systems, weapons guidance systems, and detonation triggers.”

The Russian government has vehemently denied all allegations of involvement in the spy ring. Alexander Lukashevich, the spokesman for Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, implied that this was a shock to the Russian government stating that US authorities had informed the Kremlin that the FBI indictments were criminal and were not in any way. Alexander Lukashevich, spokesman for Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who said that US authorities had informed the Russian government that the FBI indictments were criminal and gave no indication that these events were related to allegations of spying.

Arkady Bukh is a federal criminal attorney and a partner at Bukh Law Firm (14 Wall St, New York NY 10005, (212) 729-1632)),
