ContributorNetwork - COMMENTARY | National Journal reported that the failed supercommittee was $678 billion apart over extending the George W. Bush tax cuts for 10 years. This figure is the amount the wealthy would've had to pay if the cuts weren't extended for them, which would pay for 5.5 years of unemployment benefits. The right wing in this country has a very dangerous obsession: Greed preservation at the expense of America which they claim to love so much.
