(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 01, 2011 ) New York, NY -- The American rock band Daughty has revealed details of their third studio album, Break The Spell. This is the highly anticipated album for the band from North Carolina, which will be released on the same day of their debut album five years ago. Break The Spell will hit record stores on November 21, 2011 through the record label, RCA.
Since the announcement, two singles from the album have been released in different formats. “Renegade” has been climbing the music charts, while “Crawling Back To You” is currently sitting at no.3 on the countdown at the Hot AC chart. The new Daughtry album consists of 12 brand-new songs including “Outta My Head,” “Start Of Something Good” and “Crazy.”
Every song in the Break the Spell Daughtry album is co-written by the bandÂ’s frontman Chris Daughtry, with the help of either one of his bandmates (Josh Steely, Brian Craddock and Josh Paul) or with other collaborators like Bret James, Busbee and Marti Frederiksen. Chris Daughtry stated that the band did not try to fit any style of songwriting while creating the album. "Going in to the writing sessions, we said, 'Let's not try to sound like anything. Let's just write, and see what happens,'" Chris said.
