Leonard II has recently been appointed as Cobb County State Court Judge by Governor Sonny Perdue. Due to the departure of the Honorable Judge Robert Leonard, the firm name of Leonard, Rickman & Blevins, P.C. has evolved into the present firm name of Rickman & Blevins, P.C. It is bittersweet for the Georgia law firm, as they wish the best for Judge Leonard, but recognize the loss of a loyal, hardworking partner and experienced attorney.
Former partner, Rob Leonard, and current managing partner, Rob Rickman, had practiced law together since they both passed the Georgia State bar in 2000 after graduating from the University of Kentucky School of Law. The two Lexington boys brought their big dreams down to Marietta, Georgia where they took the necessary business risks to venture on their own and practice law. Together, the long-time friends and business partners have helped tens of thousands of people with their legal matters.
In addition to law, the two share a common love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. A favorite quote comes from Coach Mike Tomlin, “The standard is the standard.” For 10 years, the two developed a higher standard for their law firm and the level of legal services they provided. They challenged each other as well as other attorneys and staff to maintain the greatest quality of service and representation.

Mr. Blevins was previously Cobb County Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General, a former police officer and Detective. Additionally, Mr. Blevins is a veteran of the United States Army where he was a soldier in the Military Police Corps stationed overseas. He is a well-rounded and seasoned attorney with extensive experience. Mr. Blevins is Intoximeter 5000 and RADAR certified, has over 1,000 hours in police officer training, and has been trained and certified in Standard Field Sobriety Testing by the State of Georgia.
