New product releases now available that include the new recognition technology as well as new operational features and completely new user interfaces are:
• FaceVACS-VideoScan 4.7, a software product supporting the identification of persons in video surveillance applications using multiple cameras in real time, based on Cognitec’s unique face tracker technology.
• FaceVACS-DBScan 4.5 enables customers in finding images in large databases by comprehensive facial image analysis. The new FaceVACS-Examiner component allows for enhancement of bad-quality images used to search against enrolled galleries of digitized images. It also helps investigators identify individuals in crime scene photos and surveillance videos by providing powerful inspection tools.
• FaceVACS-PortraitAcquisition 4.0 streamlines the production of high quality portraits for photo-ID documents. This product can be configured to assess if an image complies with the ISO 19794-5 standard full frontal image type mandatory requirements or best practice recommendations, or customer-defined criteria. The new product version features an easy-to-use graphical user interface to visually supervise and operate the acquisition process as well as to assess key technical characteristics such as frontal pose, uniform lighting, glasses and open eyes.
• FaceVACS-SDK 8.4 represents a new version of Cognitec’s powerful development tool that covers all face recognition use cases such as enrollment, verification, identification, face tracking, portrait characteristics etc. This toolkit has been used by numerous developers and integrators all over the world, to develop new state-of-the-art applications for face recognition.
