The Phoenix spokesman further stated that, as an example, recently Phoenix was retained by a UK law firm Stewart Law and Andrew Shaw, Shaw, an Aviation Lawyer, to represent a "Client" who has been arrested on a INTERPOL "Red Corner Bulletin" (warrant) upon landing in Beirut Lebanon, this case presented through our office in Jordan.
The Request was simple enough at first, the Cameroon Justice Ministry had requested his Arrest (Kevin Joseph Walls - UK). Phoenix was told it was a simple political case involving a business deal gone wrong.
What we learned after being retained was the opposite, in fact, the client law firm failed to mention that their APM (Aircraft Portfolio Maintenance) based in the UK represented by Mr Fathy M Ahmed and Mr Walls and others, was involved in a serious investigation that included not only the theft of more than $30 Million USD from the government of Cameroon, a poor country in West Africa, but they are also targets in an investigation related to Presidential Assassination (President Byia) using a faulty aircraft fraudulently sold to them at 700% premium, conspiring with their opposition groups in Cameroon in support of a coup attempt and other things.
Phoenix canceled its representation and is filing civil charges on the Law Firm their E& O Carrier and APM for misrepresentation, as Phoenix was duped into believing that that The Company and Client was a victim of unfair politics, which would have allowed Phoenix to obtain his legal release back to England.
APM and those mentioned, were several years earlier, involved in the same type of actions, involving a Equatorial Guinea.
Companies and actors such as these should be sanctioned by the United Nations and and added to the United States Treasury OFAC SDN List with asset freeze travel ban and other actions.
Africa Deserves Better and Spoilers and Profiteers should be sanctioned and jailed.
