ClassAction.org Wants to Hear from Dissatisfied Page Plus Cellular Customers in Ohio

(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 03, 2010 ) New York, NY - Are you an Ohio resident who purchased the Unlimited Talk and Text plan offered by Page Plus Cellular? Did Page Plus terminate your plan for alleged “abuse” of the service? If so, ClassAction.org would like to hear about your experience.

Page Plus Cellular is a prepaid cell phone provider that offers an Unlimited Talk and Text plan for $39.95 per month. ClassAction.org has been actively investigating concerns voiced by Page Plus Cellular customers regarding the Unlimited Talk and Text plan for the past several weeks. Despite the fact that the plan is is advertised as “unlimited,” some customers have reported that their plans were unfairly terminated by Page Plus without any warning. These customers were alerted via text message that their plans were being terminated for alleged “abuse” of the service, such as using it for commercial purposes. However, the customers maintain that they were not abusing the service and were simply talking and texting on their phones in a normal manner.

Some Page Plus customers have also reported that when they attempted to contact Page Plus customer service representatives about this issue, the representatives were unhelpful. They refused to provide a clear explanation for the termination or escalate the matter to a supervisor. Instead, they encouraged customers whose plans had been terminated to sign up for a more expensive service plan. If the customers declined, they were not given a prorated refund of their monthly service charge.

If you are an Ohio resident who purchased the Page Plus Unlimited Talk and Text plan, paid the monthly fee, and your plan was terminated by Page Plus, we would like to hear about your experience.
