Morgan and Morgan Launches Website for Inspectorate America Corporation Overtime Pay Lawsuit

(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 15, 2010 ) Davie, FL - The unpaid overtime lawyers at Morgan and Morgan are pleased to announce the launch of a new website featuring information about the Brantley v. Inspectorate America Corporation overtime pay lawsuit. This lawsuit alleges that Inspectorate America Corporation violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by paying half-time overtime compensation to its Oil, Gas, and Chemical Inspectors. This system of payment is known as “Chinese Overtime.”

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, non-exempt employees are entitled to time-and-a-half compensation for all hours hours worked in excess of forty hours in a workweek. The Plaintiffs in this action, represented by Morgan and Morgan overtime attorneys, are Oil, Gas, and Chemical Inspectors who claim that they did not receive proper compensation for the overtime hours they worked. The lawsuit seeks back pay and liquidated damages from the Defendant, as well as costs and attorneyÂ’s fees to compensate eligible employees.

Any Oil, Gas, and Chemical Inspector who was an employee of Inspectorate America Corporation in the United States at any time during the last three years and received Chinese Overtime may be eligible to participate in this case. In order to join, individuals may opt-in by completing the “Consent to Become Party Plaintiff” form and mailing it to Morgan and Morgan. This form is available at http://www.inspectorateovertimelawsuit.com/. Workers who may be affected by this case should be aware that federal law prohibits defendants from retaliating against employees who exercise their rights under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

In addition to information about the Inspectorate America Corporation overtime lawsuit, InspectorateOvertimeLawsuit.com also features general information about the Fair Labor Standards Act, answers to frequently asked questions about overtime law, and information about the Morgan and Morgan overtime lawyers who are handling this case.
