(USGovernment-News.Com, February 08, 2017 ) Miami, FL -- NBC Miami reports that the city of Margate has voted to lift the Sunday alcohol sales ban as of first Sunday of February. The change in the city's regulation was determined by a unanimous 3-0 vote. This comes after complaints regarding the inability to purchase alcohol, specifically during football season. Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, and Oakland Park also recently lifted their alcohol sales bans.

The original logic behind the alcohol ban was to decrease the occurrences of such incidents; reversing it now seems counterintuitive. We cannot afford to put profit over lives. We can hope this reversal does not lead to deadly consequences, but we must be prepared to deal with the consequences."
