(USGovernment-News.Com, January 25, 2017 ) West Palm Beach, FL -- The Sun-Sentinel reports that Palm Beach County implemented a detox program focused on combating the heroin abuse epidemic affecting the state. The program, which launched in early January, provides Suboxone and drug counseling at the JFK Medical Center in Atlantis. The first 30 patients will be enrolled if they are treated for overdose symptoms within the hospital. The detox program may be expanded if proven successful.
