Detox programs in Boston are ranked at 97% capacity. The wait time of admittance is currently over three weeks. Limited space for treatment is projected to grow worse with the increasing population of Boston and will be further compounded by treatment beds being taken from those who live outside of Boston. Walsh, is attempting to address the rising problem.
