(USGovernment-News.Com, February 26, 2015 ) Lexington, KY -- On Feb, 23 2015 a man was injured after being hit by a vehicle on Tates Creek Road near Armstrong Mill in Lexington, Ky. The man suffered serious injuries, and witnesses say that he was hit while walking on a busy road. The Lexington police spent several hours hours on Monday trying to put this tragedy together.
This accident caused traffic to be backed up for miles.
Witnesses say the speeding that takes place through this area is a known problem. Lexington Police are still interviewing witnesses and trying to figure out if the victim was in the roadway when he was hit, among other details.
