Suspect Arrested in Connection with Fatal Phoenix Car Accident Reports Phillips Law Group

(USGovernment-News.Com, June 20, 2013 ) Phoenix, AZ – Monday evening a 61-year-old man was killed in a high speed crash on Interstate 17 in North Phoenix. According to the Department of Public Safety a suspect has been arrested in connection with the crash.

The suspect is believed to have been the person behind the wheel of a black GMC SUV that was traveling at a high speed when he lost control of the vehicle and slammed into the back of a white sedan. The SUV continued to roll and landed on its top in the center lane of I-17 near Pioneer Road.

The driver of the SUV was sent to the hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. However Vick A. House, the man driving the white sedan, was declared dead on the scene by the time emergency crews arrived.

Investigators are still working to determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash and have yet to release the name of the suspect in custody.
