(USGovernment-News.Com, March 21, 2013 ) MESA, Ariz. – A cab driver was killed Monday morning when he crashed his taxi into a light pole during the morning work commute. The accident took place around 7:30 a.m. on Power Road just south of Southern Ave.
Investigators reported that the cab driver suffered from a medical condition, possibly causing a heart attack. This caused him to lose control of the cab and collide with a pole. The 54 year old cab driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was one passenger in the vehicle that did not sustain any injuries and was evaluated by paramedics and able to leave the scene in no time at all. There is no evidence at this time showing if the driver died from his condition or the impact of the accident.
