(USGovernment-News.Com, March 19, 2013 ) MESA, AZ Late Friday night, around 11 P.M., a car crashed into a Chevron gas station at Horne and McKellips leaving the car propped up on its nose.
The car was propped vertically with its front end in the ground, supported by the gas station sign and a tree.
Several witnesses that called 911 reported that the driver crashed the vehicle and ran from the scene of the accident, while he appeared to be injured.
Shortly after, the driver was found and taken to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries. Reports show that the mans head went through the windshield causing him to spend hours in surgery.
Further investigation shows that the man suffers from a sleep related illness which can cause incidents like this to occur, without him even knowing.
