Friendswood Lawyer and Property Developer Jerome Karam Works hard to enhance his Community

(USGovernment-News.Com, October 29, 2012 ) Friendswood,Texas -- Jerome Karam believes that the secret to success in the local economy, is in the innovative development of run down industrial areas, particularly around the waterfront area at Galveston, an area which he believes has huge potential. He is careful in selecting properties which has historic relevance, and he works closely with architects and planners to create very beautiful and desirable commercial and residential communities. Says Karam, “This is not just about making an investment for me and my family and business associates, although naturally that is important, it's also very much about giving back something that the entire community can enjoy and benefit from. Thoughtful development on a human scale, by a local person who truly understands what makes the area tick, produces worthwhile jobs, business opportunities, and an improved and enhanced environment for all.”

A notable development in Galveston in which Karam (texas bar) has been involved includes Eibands Condominiums, 2201 Postoffice St., and the Ice House at Harborside and 21st Street. This elegant 1910 building houses law offices and fourteen residential units – the kind of development which Karam enjoys the most. The lawyer is also responsible for the $8.5 million redevelopment of Friendswood’s Acadiana Plaza, FM 528 and Sunset Boulevard, Texas.

His new Plaza 28 development in Alexandria, opened in April 2012, has incurred particular admiration, since the ground breaking ceremony in April. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the well known youth service program, "Eckerd", which has set up an operating base in that area, as well as the local Chamber of Commerce. When it's completed, the Plaza 28 development will be hometo four to five businesses on nearby pad sites, as well as thirty six rental condominiums.

Jerome and his wife Leslie have a lovely family of five, Jacob, Josh, JoAnn, Jordan, and Justin. Jerome, being a football star himself in his college days, is especially proud of son Jacob, who is currently acting as stand in GQ at the University of Memphis after playing as Lawyer Jerome Karam a standout quarterback at Friendswood High. At just sixteen years, daughter JoAnn is already a rising tennis star, and the youngest player from Galveston County to be invited to play in the Championship Masters.

Karam is not just about business litigations and property developments, he is also very interested in helping people who are unfortunate enough to be involved in personal injury claims, and in fact, this was the foundation of his law practice.
