(USGovernment-News.Com, October 03, 2012 ) PHOENIX, AZ – In an effort to improve Arizona supervisors’ ability to more effectively manage employees, the state will make a big push to begin to train these individuals. As supervisors are responsible for the overall productivity of their respective areas, the new training sessions will hopefully boost output levels while putting personnel in the best position to succeed. These changes will begin on Saturday. To learn more information, please visit: http://www.phillipslaw.com/.
Gov. Jan Brewer was the force behind this personnel push in the last legislative session. The main transition will involve moving at-will status employees to uncovered status. These changes will create a number of different provisions that will affect supervisors’ ability to manage employees, thus boosting productivity across the state.
In training more than 6,500 supervisors, the state will pay approximately $100,000 for the training. Some of the most critical changes that Arizona employees will see will be the supervisor’s ability fire, discipline, promote, and give raises to their staff. In addition, new penalties will promote the better protection for whistle-blowers in an effort to encourage honesty and integrity throughout the workplace.
As the state works hard to improve the working environment, many people still feel slighted by their employers and/or supervisors. In the event where an issue arises, an Arizona wage & hour lawyer is important to the employee’s ability to recover funds. As the state continues to improve government regulated issues, employee satisfaction and productivity will rise.
