(USGovernment-News.Com, September 26, 2012 ) White Lake, MI – On Saturday, October 13, 2012, the White Lake Township Library will host an impressive lineup of local authors from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The authors will be on hand to answer questions and provide opportunities for attendees to purchase books that they wrote. There is no cost to attendees, and the event is open to the public. Advance registration is not required for people attending the event.
More authors might come to the event to present, but currently, there are over ten (10) local authors registered to discuss and present their books. Some authors published multiple books, and others are just beginning authors. All authors have published, at least, one (1) book, even if it was self-published.
One of the authors, Carolann Plank, published her book, “As Far As You Know,” at age eleven (11). Today, she is twelve (12), and she turned that book into a movie. Carolann is from Brighton, MI and her book was inspired by The Hunger Games.
Carolann Plank is not the only young author who will be showcasing her work at the White Lake Township Library Author Day event.
Alecia Martino was seventeen (17) when her book, “Dewey’s First Adventure,” got published. Alecia has made several book signing appearances throughout Southeast Michigan to share and promote her book.
There will be more than just young authors at the Author Day event, though.
Ryan Ennis has a PhD from Wayne State University, and he wrote two (2) books that are published. Both books are children’s fiction books about autism.
George Mouradian has multiple books. Several of them offer a taste of Armenia.
Cedric Dukes wrote two (2) books. Cedric has even given radio interviews.
Rebecca Belliston wrote a book. She also loves music, and she writes sheet music and plays the piano.
Many other authors will be there to add to the variety of books that will be available. There will be a lot of opportunities for interesting discussions since each author brings a different background to the event.
